Physician's Corner

Dr. Von Kilaghbian welcomes orthopedic surgeon visitations. Interested surgeons may contact Marla Wilkins at the Los Angeles Orthopaedic Center.

One or two day visitations include dinner meetings with detailed discussions of the procedures and a subsequent operating room visitation next day. Since the visitation is part of an educational experience and is held frequently, advance notice is required. Hospital policy forbids more than three visitors in each operating room.

Both computer assisted less invasive knee replacement and minimally invasive anterior approach courses are regularly held under the direction of Dr. Von Kilaghbian. These courses are an excellent way of practicing complicated procedures in controlled cadaver labs.
